The Suite Life - November 2022

It feels like just yesterday we were making plans for 2022, yet here we are in the last full month of the working year, wondering how the time has passed so quickly. It’s been a cracker of a year, but we’re not quite at the finish line yet – and there’s plenty more excitement to come before we wrap up 2022.

Festive season frivolity seems to be kicking off early this year and there’s an array of social invitations on our desks. We’re looking forward to the B&T Awards this Friday (did we mention we’ve been nominated for the Production Company of the Year award?!). Plus, for those who love their sport, the FIFA 2022 World Cup kicks off in Qatar on November 20, and it would be remiss of us not to mention that November is also Movember, a men’s health campaign well worth getting behind.

Not to be forgotten – 14th November is World Diabetes Day and this year International Day of People with a Disability (IDPwD) falls on Saturday 3rd December. We’ve got lots to celebrate inhouse too, with two new team members joining TLS. A very warm welcome to Courtenay McDermott, our newly appointed Director of Content, Strategy & Partnerships. Courtenay (or Courts as she’s affectionately known) has worked for global brands such as Meta, Aussie Home Loans as well as Men’s Health and Women’s Health magazines.

Also joining the team is Fiona Gulin. Based in Melbourne, Fi is an experienced talent manager who has come on board to support our very busy talent team given the significant growth we’ve experienced in recent months. Both Courts and Fi are looking forward to working with you soon.
